Live Music - Ryan Dart
New album If Love Don’t Break You, Spring 2026
Farmer. Father. Musician. Ryan Dart’s music draws from love, loss, and hard work in the
shadow of the Rocky Mountains. A fourth-generation Colorado native raised below the poverty
line in western Arkansas, Dart was shaped by songwriting giants—Dylan, Cash, Van
Zandt—and old rhythm and blues. As a grandson of the Dust Bowl that comes from a long line
of farmers, his connection to the earth runs deep.
After years on the road with Ryan Bingham, Rose Hill Drive, The Who, Bob Dylan, Van Halen,
and Jack Johnson, Dart settled down to raise his son and start Dart Farms north of Denver.
Around the release of his 2022 album Edge of the Wild, his marriage ended, pushing him
deeper into the emotional landscape of his songwriting.
Now he returns with his most honest work yet: 14 original songs featuring Texas fiddle legend
Richard Bowden (Ryan Bingham, Terry Allen) alongside members of Elephant Revival and
Rose Hill Drive. While tackling heartbreak and loss, the album surprises with upbeat love
songs—showcasing evolution as a songwriter unafraid to dig into the full spectrum of human
emotion.
With new music, expanded film/TV songwriting work, and more touring planned, 2026 is poised
to be Dart’s breakout year. He is an authentic songwriter who lives the stories he tells.
