Ignite 2026: Women’s Creative Gathering Invites All Women to Begin the New Year with Intention at The Elizabeth Hotel

Fort Collins, CO — Women from all walks of life across Northern Colorado are invited to start 2026 with connection, reflection, and renewed energy at Ignite: Women’s Creative Gathering, a half-day immersive experience taking place Sunday, January 11, at The Elizabeth Hotel in downtown Fort Collins.

Hosted in the hotel’s Sunset Lounge, Ignite is a welcoming kickoff to the new year designed for all women—whether you consider yourself creative or simply feel a desire to reconnect with yourself. The gathering blends workshops, reflection, movement, and storytelling circles to help participants release what no longer serves them and reconnect with what lights them up.

“Women supporting women is how creativity stays alive,” said Shantel Hansen, award-winning filmmaker and co-host. “Ignite is about sparking the light within—whether you’re a full-time parent who’s always wanted to write a book, start a podcast, or make your next film, or someone simply craving renewal. You don’t have to fit a label to belong here. This space is for you.”

Participants will choose one of three immersive breakout sessions:

• Somatics of Creativity — guided movement and body-based release
• Express Yourself — creative expression through style, voice, and presence
• Explore What Ignites You — reflection and intention-setting for the year ahead

The afternoon concludes with a collective reflection and digital vision-boarding experience, followed by a relaxed happy hour at The Emporium, where attendees can continue conversations, connect, and toast what’s ahead with the community at the center.

Ignite is led by a group of Northern Colorado facilitators including Madisen Golden, Katie Miner, Shantel Hansen, and Hope Hartman, each bringing a unique perspective on creativity, expression, and renewal.
