Digg was formed in 2012 by Will Crossland in Denver, Colorado with a style that spanned the genres of rock, funk, soul, blues, and jazz. Having recorded three full-length records within the last 10 years, Digg has evolved to take on their own unique sound, connecting with a wide variety of music fans across the genre spectrum.
The addition of Josh Rutherford, Connor Groscurth, and Teo Vanovsky over the past 7 years has allowed the band’s sound to continue to develop and refine while growing and maintaining a large, dedicated fan base that has seen the band directly support acts such as George Porter Jr. of The Meters, The Main Squeeze, Sister Sparrow and the Dirty Birds, Orgone, Soul Rebels, The Revivalists, The Delta Saints, and Mike Dillon among others.
Digg released their third full-length record Get What You Give in 2021. Recorded during 2020’s covid lockdown at Evergroove Studio and featuring Jordan Craig on trombone, the album continued to push the band’s sound towards the direction of heavy funk with traces Northern Soul, Southern Grit, and Mountain Spirit. The album is available for purchase on vinyl and to stream via Spotify and Apple Music.
