The Just Jazz Quintet, or JJQ, has been a jazz mainstay for a couple of decades in northern Colorado. Featuring some of the most accomplished jazz musicians along Colorado’s front range. They play a wide variety of jazz encompassing many of the band’s original compositions and their own arrangements of many jazz standards. Over the years they have played for The Fort Collins Jazz Festival, The Magic Rat, Windsor Arts Festival, Chapungu Sculpture Gardens, Loveland Art Museum, Fort Collins Museum, Tri-Media Film Festival, Fort Collins Downtown Business Association a variety of corporate and private parties and of course the monthly show at Avogadros in Ft Collins. Current members of the band are: Ron Holleman-Trumpet and Flugelhorn, Andrew Vogt-Saxaphones and Clarinet, Jo Asker-Bass, Chuck Landgraf-Drums, Tim Gauthier-guitar or Bob Montgomery-piano.
